DAN KESSLER

24 year-old, First Assistant Instructor, Dan Kessler is one of the best lightweight grapplers in the country. Dan has trained with American Pankration for over six years. He is now our lightweight coach, and the primary Instructor at the Pure Fitness location. Dan is a huge asset to the program. He goes above and beyond the call of duty. Following the earlier training session, at 7:00PM, every other Tuesday, Dan holds an optional video review session. He leads the weekend morning, Squaw Peak/Camelback runs, and late night sprints after the Thursday late session. No one can question his dedication. Over the last year, Dan has designed an education-based program specifically for the needs of women. The program is called Angels With Attitudes. AWA is a company dedicated to ending physical violence and sexual assault against women. Dan has a team of dedicated women, who assist him with demonstration, throughout his self-defense workshops, and speaking seminars. It is always exciting to see a protégé branching out, in a related field. American Pankration is more than confident in him, because not only is Danny great at his trade, he is an expert-communicator. The Edson Entrepreneur Initiative Group was also, confident in him. They awarded him a grant for his endeavors, and are providing him an office to build his business from. Dan’s group Angels with Attitudes, were one of the final winners of the grant.
